I am happy to announce that my album “Going My Way” is now available on all streaming platforms. If you always wanted to stream that album, go ahead and spin it! “Going My Way” is a wild ride through many different genres in between pop, rock and metal. The album has been recorded as online collaborations with 21 musicians. It’s one of my favourite albums, because it truly reflects my skills in songwriting, arrangement and production. “Going My Way” is the beginning of a new chapter, a chapter, where I’m not only tweaking knobs and automations in my DAW, but also play real instruments, write arrangements for full bands, contribute lyrics and co-write with talented folks all over the globe. It has been such a treat to work with so many talented musicians. Big shoutout to David Taro, Nate Gerry, Chad Lenig, I AM MEADOWS, Kelly Best, Roman Wreden, Michael Karns, Jason Challis, Garrett Kirby, Jordan Hirsch, Simon Ashby, Stefan Hartl, Gammafied, Caitlin Sigler, Kate Stanton, Rich Brewer, Ben Kohr, Alex Pinheiro, Stephan Kösters and Robert Cooperider (in no particular order). When The Sun Goes Down now available on all streaming platforms

Migrating my discography is a huge project. I am happy to have re-released my second album, “When The Sun Goes Down” – a multi-genre album between pop and trance. “When The Sun Goes Down” holds a special place in my heart, because it contains my very first pop songs. Many of you just know me as an electronic music producer, but I’m more than that. On this album, I showcase my ability to write pop songs and lyrics. I worked with several musicians from Germany to record vocals and guitar tracks for the second half of the album. As many years passed, since “When The Sun Goes Down” was originally released, I was not able to contact all people involved. The streaming version has a slightly different tracklist. “Breathing Rush”, “Sore” and “Autumnal” could not be published as they are technically remixes. The song “Daylight means endeavour” had to be replaced by its instrumental version “Beauty of Melancholy”. Bandcamp is the only place where you can listen and get the full version of the album – but all other songs are on the streaming version. We also published many singles, including unheard acoustic and instrumental versions. Many thanks to all people who have been involved on this album! You can find a preview video on YouTube. Auf Wiedersehen – Say goodbye to unfaithfulness

My new song is special, because I barely write German lyrics. But this time, they hit so hard, that I was happy to team up with Momente-Galerie, a talented singer-songwriter. Be prepared for a catchy pop rock anthem! Though German is my mother tongue, it is hard for me to write lyrics. The German language tends to sound quite harsh, complex and schmaltzy. Finding the sweet spot demands a lot of experience. When I wrote the lyrics, I imagined a hard hitting and catchy song like the wave of Deutschpop and Deutschrock that has been in the radios in the early 2000s. I am happy that I stumbled across Momente-Galerie, whose singer-songwriter music has the relentless energy. She wrote great melodies and chords around my lyrics. Later we teamed up to turn the acoustic version into a full band song, where I smashed my electric guitar. Lyrically, “Auf Wiedersehen” (German: goodbye) offers an unapologetic take on betrayal and unfaithfulness. The narrator kicks their cheating partner out of both the house and their life. It’s a breakup song, but one with no return and no remorse. You can find our hard hitting pop rock song “Auf Wiedersehen” on all streaming platforms, and of course on YouTube and Bandcamp, too. I highly recommend listening to both versions, as it’s very interesting to hear, how a singer with guitar take can have so much emotion.

“Goodbye Warrior” – Forgiveness as secret weapon

Most songs are about fighting for love. What if forgiveness and understanding are the key? “Goodbye Warrior” is about getting to know oneself and understanding that both sides failed. We terminate the relationship gracefully instead of accusing each other. The idea for “Goodbye Warrior” has been born in 2012. I already knew that this will be a pop song with electronic influences, but I lacked of many blocks to finish this building. Back then, I didn’t play guitar, so I was very happy for Stefan’s help. He also added awesome licks and phrases I could never think of. Many years passed until I found a way to write the intro and bridge to my full satisfaction. The arrangement has been adapted multiple times. Today, I am happy to present you the final song with Kate’s magical voice. This song means a lot to me, cause it took so many hours, days, weeks and years. We love the final version! As usual, you can listen to the song on my SoundCloud and YouTube channel. Hold On To Your Dreams

Some months ago, I wrote a pop rock instrumental that needed an uplifting lyric. As some of you may know, it’s not an easy task for me, so I am happy that We Happy Few jumped in and also offered vocals and guitars. And the result is our song “Hold On To Your Dreams”. The message of these lyrics is quite clear. Believe in your dreams, believe in yourself, even if not everything is fine all the time. This song should lift you up and empower you to try something new and find yourself. Big thanks go to We Happy Few, with whom I was never able to finish the song.
