Re-Release of 20th Anniversary Remix Albums

Both 20th anniversary remix albums are now available on all streaming platforms. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed their creativity, time, and talent to these releases. The first volume, “The Club Remixes” contains over one hour of house, techno, trance, synthwave and darkwave remixes that could be played in underground clubs. You can find “20th Anniversary – The Club Remixes” here. The second volume, “The Radio Remixes” is a bouquet of lo-fi, pop, rock and jazz remixes, that will please your ears on good speakers in the living room. Minor changes for technical reasons Some remixes were already included with the singles when we migrated the songs from Bandcamp to additional streaming platforms. Technically, we needed all the individual songs to be available before we could compile the albums. Now, we are proud to announce that both “20th Anniversary – The Club Remixes” and “20th Anniversary – The Radio Remixes” are officially on all streaming platforms. However, there are a few slight differences due to technical circumstances. A big thank you! Due to personal circumstances, there will be no Bandcamp listening party this time. We hope we can make up for it when the time is right. Maybe the release of the complete discography would be a good occasion to celebrate. A huge thank-you goes to all remixers, collaborators, labels and photographers who allowed us to publish this album. Without your support, creativity and trust, these releases would not have been possible. Twenty years of music is a long time, and these remix albums are a tribute to everybody who joined the ride.

More Than I Pretend – A song for introverts

“More Than I Pretend” was created in collaboration with Hamburg-based artist Morino. I’m happy about this release, as we have been appreciating each other’s music for several years. The song tells the story of an introverted person who notices everything, but rarely speaks up about it. This often leads to misunderstandings, which can prevent them from fully reaching their potential. Still waters run deep. Introverted people often understand far more than they are given credit for, and they rather act quietly than stepping into the spotlight. That’s exactly why the cover artwork for “More Than I Pretend” was designed to be loud and striking. It contrasts with what one might expect. This song is energetic, fast, and fun to listen. “More Than I Pretend” is now available on all major streaming platforms as well as Bandcamp.

Going My Way – Now available on all streaming platforms

I am happy to announce that my album “Going My Way” is now available on all streaming platforms. If you always wanted to stream that album, go ahead and spin it! “Going My Way” is a wild ride through many different genres in between pop, rock and metal. The album has been recorded as online collaborations with 21 musicians. It’s one of my favourite albums, because it truly reflects my skills in songwriting, arrangement and production. “Going My Way” is the beginning of a new chapter, a chapter, where I’m not only tweaking knobs and automations in my DAW, but also play real instruments, write arrangements for full bands, contribute lyrics and co-write with talented folks all over the globe. It has been such a treat to work with so many talented musicians. Big shoutout to David Taro, Nate Gerry, Chad Lenig, I AM MEADOWS, Kelly Best, Roman Wreden, Michael Karns, Jason Challis, Garrett Kirby, Jordan Hirsch, Simon Ashby, Stefan Hartl, Gammafied, Caitlin Sigler, Kate Stanton, Rich Brewer, Ben Kohr, Alex Pinheiro, Stephan Kösters and Robert Cooperider (in no particular order). When The Sun Goes Down now available on all streaming platforms

Migrating my discography is a huge project. I am happy to have re-released my second album, “When The Sun Goes Down” – a multi-genre album between pop and trance. “When The Sun Goes Down” holds a special place in my heart, because it contains my very first pop songs. Many of you just know me as an electronic music producer, but I’m more than that. On this album, I showcase my ability to write pop songs and lyrics. I worked with several musicians from Germany to record vocals and guitar tracks for the second half of the album. As many years passed, since “When The Sun Goes Down” was originally released, I was not able to contact all people involved. The streaming version has a slightly different tracklist. “Breathing Rush”, “Sore” and “Autumnal” could not be published as they are technically remixes. The song “Daylight means endeavour” had to be replaced by its instrumental version “Beauty of Melancholy”. Bandcamp is the only place where you can listen and get the full version of the album – but all other songs are on the streaming version. We also published many singles, including unheard acoustic and instrumental versions. Many thanks to all people who have been involved on this album! You can find a preview video on YouTube. Auf Wiedersehen – Say goodbye to unfaithfulness

My new song is special, because I barely write German lyrics. But this time, they hit so hard, that I was happy to team up with Momente-Galerie, a talented singer-songwriter. Be prepared for a catchy pop rock anthem! Though German is my mother tongue, it is hard for me to write lyrics. The German language tends to sound quite harsh, complex and schmaltzy. Finding the sweet spot demands a lot of experience. When I wrote the lyrics, I imagined a hard hitting and catchy song like the wave of Deutschpop and Deutschrock that has been in the radios in the early 2000s. I am happy that I stumbled across Momente-Galerie, whose singer-songwriter music has the relentless energy. She wrote great melodies and chords around my lyrics. Later we teamed up to turn the acoustic version into a full band song, where I smashed my electric guitar. Lyrically, “Auf Wiedersehen” (German: goodbye) offers an unapologetic take on betrayal and unfaithfulness. The narrator kicks their cheating partner out of both the house and their life. It’s a breakup song, but one with no return and no remorse. You can find our hard hitting pop rock song “Auf Wiedersehen” on all streaming platforms, and of course on YouTube and Bandcamp, too. I highly recommend listening to both versions, as it’s very interesting to hear, how a singer with guitar take can have so much emotion.
