Re-Release of 20th Anniversary Remix Albums

Both 20th anniversary remix albums are now available on all streaming platforms. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed their creativity, time, and talent to these releases. The first volume, “The Club Remixes” contains over one hour of house, techno, trance, synthwave and darkwave remixes that could be played in underground clubs. The second volume, “The Radio Remixes” is a bouquet of lo-fi, pop, rock and jazz remixes, that will please your ears on good speakers in the living room. Minor changes for technical reasons Some remixes were already included with the singles when we migrated the songs from Bandcamp to additional streaming platforms. Technically, we needed all the individual songs to be available before we could compile the albums. Now, we are proud to announce that both “20th Anniversary – The Club Remixes” and “20th Anniversary – The Radio Remixes” are officially on all streaming platforms. However, there are a few slight differences due to technical circumstances. A big thank you! Due to personal circumstances, there will be no Bandcamp listening party this time. We hope we can make up for it when the time is right. Maybe the release of the complete discography would be a good occasion to celebrate. A huge thank-you goes to all remixers, collaborators, labels and photographers who allowed us to publish this album. Without your support, creativity and trust, these releases would not have been possible. Twenty years of music is a long time, and these remix albums are a tribute to everybody who joined the ride.

Event Horizon – Now available on all streaming platforms

As many of you requested this Bandcamp-only release Event Horizon to be published on all streaming platforms, we made it happen. My studio album “Event Horizon” consists of ten dark and progressive electro songs and will be the last electronic album for quite a while. “Event Horizon” is just made for a grim science fiction film taking place in the deepest unknowns of space. Read this article, to understand what inspired me for this album. My deep dive into sound design led to an industrial sound, that sets the stage for dark electro, hard trance and hard house songs. Another sources of inspiration were science fiction films, especially cyberpunk. For me, publishing “Event Horizon” to streaming platforms is also a letter to say goodbye to electronic music. Nebula is now available on streaming platforms

My dark electro album “Nebula” is now available on all Streaming-Plattform. As a bonus, I published singles including new and old remixes. Quite a year after publishing this dark electro album on Bandcamp, Nebula is available on streaming platforms like Spotify, Itunes, Deezer and Pandora. We celebrate this event with a Bandcamp listening party on Sunday, 8pm CEST. As usual, you can find a preview of all songs on YouTube. Within 10 minute you can get a glimpse of all songs in that album. The album length is 52 minutes.

When The Sun Goes Down now available on all streaming platforms

Migrating my discography is a huge project. I am happy to have re-released my second album, “When The Sun Goes Down” – a multi-genre album between pop and trance. “When The Sun Goes Down” holds a special place in my heart, because it contains my very first pop songs. Many of you just know me as an electronic music producer, but I’m more than that. On this album, I showcase my ability to write pop songs and lyrics. I worked with several musicians from Germany to record vocals and guitar tracks for the second half of the album. As many years passed, since “When The Sun Goes Down” was originally released, I was not able to contact all people involved. The streaming version has a slightly different tracklist. “Breathing Rush”, “Sore” and “Autumnal” could not be published as they are technically remixes. The song “Daylight means endeavour” had to be replaced by its instrumental version “Beauty of Melancholy”. Bandcamp is the only place where you can listen and get the full version of the album – but all other songs are on the streaming version. We also published many singles, including unheard acoustic and instrumental versions. Many thanks to all people who have been involved on this album! You can find a preview video on YouTube. Nightflight – The album on the floppy disk

A few months ago, I found a full album of MIDIs on a floppy disk. I wrote these songs in 2004 and completely forgot about them, when I got my first DAW. Now I turned these gems into full production. An album full of dream house and dream dance nostalgia from the 1990s. I found a floppy disc with a full album I could not believe my eyes and ears, when I found a floppy disk with an album full of songs from 2004. It has been a bit of an adventure to borrow a floppy disk drive and load all these projects into my music software. 9 of 12 MIDI files were fully arranged songs that only lacked of proper instrumentation and production. The other songs were loops that went nowhere, but this is fine for me. If you ever wondered how it all started – here is a screenshot from Anvil Studio, a free MIDI software, similar to the one I used to create music. My Facebook community encouraged me to give my fully disk album a second chance and fully produce them, though I told myself to step away from electronic dance music as I do not identify with it for many years already. Producing these songs were a tough journey through my early teenage years, where I listened to dream house and trance music all day. These melodies are simple and catchy, and far away from the complex and dark music I write today. It has been worth the ride, because my discography feels complete. Also, I am very happy with the result. The meaning behind the cover and title At first, I considered the original floppy disk to be the cover of the album, but I did not enjoy the association with 8bit music. So I decided to take a shoot from the airport, where my musical journey started. The title “Nightflight” is a nod to one of my favourite songs that I listened on my first flight, and that inspired me to start with music. Can you guess the song? I highly encourage you to support the album on Bandcamp, because that’s where indie artists receive 85% of the revenue and not some lousy 0.003 cents per listen.
