Event Horizon – Now available on all streaming platforms

As many of you requested this Bandcamp-only release Event Horizon to be published on all streaming platforms, we made it happen. My studio album “Event Horizon” consists of ten dark and progressive electro songs and will be the last electronic album for quite a while. “Event Horizon” is just made for a grim science fiction film taking place in the deepest unknowns of space. Read this article, to understand what inspired me for this album. My deep dive into sound design led to an industrial sound, that sets the stage for dark electro, hard trance and hard house songs. Another sources of inspiration were science fiction films, especially cyberpunk. For me, publishing “Event Horizon” to streaming platforms is also a letter to say goodbye to electronic music. Nebula is now available on streaming platforms

My dark electro album “Nebula” is now available on all Streaming-Plattform. As a bonus, I published singles including new and old remixes. Quite a year after publishing this dark electro album on Bandcamp, Nebula is available on streaming platforms like Spotify, Itunes, Deezer and Pandora. We celebrate this event with a Bandcamp listening party on Sunday, 8pm CEST. As usual, you can find a preview of all songs on YouTube. Within 10 minute you can get a glimpse of all songs in that album. The album length is 52 minutes.

Celebrating my 20th anniversary, I decided to complete my discography. I found over a dozen songs in folders, that are not part of an album yet. Some songs were already online on YouTube, others had to be remastered completely. All my songs should have a home, a reliable source, that is available 24/7. That’s why I decided to upload “Nebula”, an album full of b-sides. You can pre-order “Nebula” exclusively on Bandcamp now. Unfortunately, I had to set up a price to make this album and link available before release on December 6. When the album is out, I will date it back to 2015 to avoid confusion of my discography.

Like A Dream (CYBTRAXX Remix)

The promotion for my 20th anniversary remix album has begun! We start with CYBTRAXX’ remix on “Like A Dream”, which is a very exclusive and intensive piece of art. “Like A Dream” has been one of my first electronic music productions. Max and Ramona approached me to write a song around lyrics and vocals. My original version is quite minimalistic, somewhere in between a acid techno rave and positive emotions. CYBTRAXX turned my song into a dark and mysterious song, highlighting the thoughts in the lyrics, that are about a woman falling for another. This story is also reflected in the video: Thanks a lot for remixing this song, and for being part of my 20th anniversary remix album, that will be available on Bandcamp, May 31. CYBTRAXX did many other remixes for me, feel free to check out his YouTube channel.

Liminal Spaces – Hauntingly beautiful

Kate Stanton and I spent the last weeks with a song that is eerie and wonderful at the same time. A song about liminal spaces, where reality collides. A liminal space is a place or a person in between two states followed by a certain ambiguity or disorientation. Think of it as the backdrop of a horror or science fiction movie, but also of a situation where you don’t know if moving backwards or forwards is the better way to go. Kate sent me a piano and vocal draft that immediately caught my intention. I already heard a song in between Nine Inch Nails and Massive Attack. So I grabbed my synthesizers and drum machines and tried some sound design. We ended up with an eerie yet soothing industrial / trip-hop song with emotional vocals. You can listen to our song on my YouTube channel or SoundCloud. It’s definitely worth taking a look into Kate’s video footage showing lost places. Thanks for the collaboration, it’s been fun to try something different.
