Civil Obedience – Love and Peace

In a world that feels overwhelming and fractured, the call for love and peace is more prominent than ever. “Civil Obedience” reminds us to focus on what truly matters: love and compassion.

“Civil Obedience” is a highly energetic indie rock song that draws from the raw spirit of 90s rock, and energetic positivity of the 60s hippie movement. Impassioned vocals and meaningful lyrics meet a catchy guitar riff. We designed this feel good anthem for a better tomorrow.

The Karlos Kollective and I wanted to collab for quite a long while. Their rather psychedelic sound needed a big stadium anthem, and this is what happened when I wrote “Civil Obedience”. Everything started with a simple guitar riff, that stayed in my head for days. By sending it back and forth, we wrote a full song around that riff, and deliberately decided that the intro has to be long and epic. Please be patient for the full-blown explosion towards the end.
