Reveal "The Secret of the Future"

Today, the last song of the year is being released. With “The Secret of the Future”, a gothic rock ballad that has been floating in my head for years, has finally come to life. It’s one of those songs that will carry you away emotionally.

The idea came up in 2005, but I was never able to realize the song the way I heard it in my head. Part of the reason was that I couldn’t play guitar back then. Another reason was that it needed an expressive, unmistakable voice. You can hear the original version on the B-sides album “Electro Static”.

Now, the song has finally become what I envisioned. Sonia Hutchinson, the lead vocalist of the band Crowsilver, contributed the lyrics and vocals, inspired by the title itself. The song took on a powerful life of its own and encourages you to take responsibility for your own future.
