Information
Fading Light - A lullaby about unrequited love
With its entrancing guitar theme and emotive vocals, Fading Light echoes the timeless traditions of early folk music. Altered tunings were often used in folk music, and we follow that tradition to underscore the emotion. Like the iris flower that blooms and fades, Fading Light captures the fleeting nature of love and life. A timeless and dynamic song about a love that never takes root.

Caoineag - Celtic traditions meet electro
Drawing its name from the mythical spirit, Caoineag (pronounced kwee-nak) combines Scottish folklore with deep house and progressive trance. Caoineag is a banshee-like figure whose sorrowful cries foretell death and tragedy. With its entrancing melody and its Gaelic influences, this song sounds like a mournful cry in the open - atmospheric, haunting, mystic, yet beautiful in its own way

Tracklist
01. Trying to Be (04:19)

Information
RobinLeaf started this song with a vocal recording. Inspired by psychology, her lyrics are from the point of view of an avoidant personality, who tries to work on themselves. I composed a chord progression for her vocal take, turning this song into a ballad. Right after, Ken Mattsson recorded another take of vocals, turning it into a duet. Last but not least, Paul Benham contributed ambient guitars that turned it into a cinematic piece.

01. No Difference (05:19)

Information
This song started as a random collaboration. I read that Σigma enjoys 80s synth pop and dark wave, so I trhed to write something in this direction. THe lyrics are about somebody who's indifferent to anything. I am so happy how my lyrics were turned into a gem of a synth pop song. Please take a listen!

This song started as instrumental with a very eerie atmosphere. I am happy, that Michael dived right into it and wrote awesome lyrics.
